Sažetak
Meshless computational methods based on the local Petrov-Galerkin approach for the analysis of shell and plate structures are presented. The fully displacement interpolation is applied in shell analysis, while a new mixed formulation is proposed for modelling of plate deformation responses. A concept of a three dimensional solid is used. Discretization is carried out by using a moving least square approximation and polynomial functions. In both the displacement and mixed formulations, thickness locking phenomena are fully eliminated. In the thin structural limit, shear locking is minimized in shell analysis, and it is completely suppressed for plate structures by means of the mixed formulation. The numerical efficiency of the derived concepts is demonstrated by numerical examples.
