Sažetak
Due to high costs of professional measuring equipment and to our professional curiosity, a decision has been made that an omni-directional sound source should be built for measurements to be made in the field of building and architectural acoustics. In order to radiate sound evenly in all directions, the source itself would have to have a shape similar to a sphere. The construction process started with choosing the polyhedral shape which would emulate the appearance of a sphere. Upon the completion of constructing the source, actual measurements have been made in order to determine whether the source complies with valid relevant standards.
