Sažetak
State-of-the-art in reinforced concrete arch bridges has been presented with discussion on design, construction, performance in service and subsequently performed repairs on Adriatic RC arch bridges. Lessons from the past that should be incorporated in design of future bridges have been pointed out, as well as requirements for future research in order to increase the competitiveness of RC arch bridges and to ensure the preservation of existing structures.
