Sažetak
On the ground of two songs with music by Juraj Mulih found in a manuscript song-book from 1749, the author considers Mulih as a musician. He first presents opinions of earlier investigators on the value of Mulih's music. He then places it within the context of his time, describing, baroque music of the 17th and 18th centuries in Croatia on the grounds of the most significant musical and liturgical works, and analyses theis characteristics. It is shown that Mulih's songs must be consideserd within the context of jesuit musical tradition and that they posseses an intrinsic value, although, in the musical sense, they are very modest and simple.
