Sažetak
In this talk we investigate which quadratic, cubic and quartic fields have the property that their integers can be represented as a sum of units. In particular we are interested in purely cubic and quartic fields. In the case of quadratic fields we find asymptotics u_k(x) for the number of non-associated integers with norm ≤ x that can be represented as a sum of k units.
