Sažetak
As a result of rapid advances in technology development, we are witnessing numerous environmental changes, with serious consequences like pollution, meteorological anomalies, land desertification and similar. Environmental Information Systems (EIS) and Environmental Monitoring Information System (EMIS) are intensive research areas, partially due to the efforts on more efficient environmental protection and partially due to the IC (Information-Communication) technology development providing new environmental protection methodologies and treatments. A sensory network based on automatic ground monitoring stations enables more flexible real-time environment monitoring and protection. This paper describes a part of our iForestFire system and explains in more details multi agent architecture of subsystem for collection and validation of environmental data important for high level processing and analyzing tasks. Theoretical background and experiences from 2005 and 2006 field experiments are given
