Sažetak
The effect of aerosol vaccination against Marek's disease using turkey herpesvirus FC 126 on respiratory system of broiler chickens was investigated. In eadh of two trials the vaccine was applied to 425 day old chickens by use of ultrasonic nebulizer SONOVAC 095 making particles of 2-7 microns in diameter. The effect of vaccination against Marek's disease was estimated by the success of fattening and grosspathology analyses of the deceased chicks and also by bacteriological examination. The findings of bacteria as well as yeast and moulds were less frequent in vaccinated chicks than in the control ones. The aerosol vaccination of day old chickens against MD using Marikal-Pliva, thus turned to be successful. The possible vaccine reaction entirely failed to occur.
