Sažetak
On a 3-rd century sarcophagus of a senatorial lady Romania N(a)evia from Siscia a full-figure of a young woman dressed in toga is depicted on the front. This unusual clothes, as well as an enigmatic epitaph, are discussed in the light of a possible social/gender context. It has been argued that the owner the sarcophagus wanted to depict herself according to male/senatorial prerogatives of her husband, presumably a vir clarissimus.
