Sažetak
Harbours and shipyards are technological plants with the stochastic consumption of electric energy. Monthly peak load causes up to 70% of the total electric energy costs and can hardly be foreseen. The use of the own energy supplies efficiently cuts down the accounting peak load and the electric energy costs with no influence on the technological process. As the generated kWh is usually more expensive than the delivered one, the optimal peak load cutting limit has to be determined. It depends on the agreed peak load, monthly load diagram, the number and the rate of the own generators and cost factors. In the calculation of the generated energy price, fuel, amortization and the maintenance costs of diesel-generators were taken into consideration. For the quality planing of the electric energy requirements, electric energy cost cutting and the increase of business efficiency, energy management system must be introduced.
