Sažetak
The text addresses the complexity of the usage of the term 'civil society' in the post-Yugoslav space. It focuses on some of the consequences of the reduction of the term to the activities of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and comments on the rise of meta-NGOs. The text concludes with a call for a reinvigorated public sphere in terms of new forms of social energy.
