Sažetak
There are empirical, tabled, graphical and mathematical methods of optimization of material's stocks. To optimization be successful is necessary to more parameters, which are different and specific for each production system, has to be taken in consideration because characteristics of production program, production system and production policy influence on them. Optimization for each, well organized, production system has own specifics which coming from the fact that each manufacture are based on operational plans from which come out many characteristics of optimization which has to be implemented. Primary there are supplying and consuming characteristics. Will be shortly explained combined empirical-mathematical method which use classification of materials based on their supplying and consuming characteristics. For each class of material is defined the accounting model of the minimal and maximal quantities on stock. The quantities of each material and terminus of stock renewing are defined considering the renewing of material stocks based on operational plans of assembly-line production.
