Sažetak
All systems, technical in particular, have their lifetime starting with initial exploitation until the system exceeds its design lifetime. During that period each technical system comprises three periods: 1. the initial period or burning in ; 2. the exploitation period or useful life period ; 3. the aging period or expiry. This paper has used data obtained from maintenance programme ''AMOS'' during exploitation of ship's propulsion system. The procedure defining distribution of measurement data and testing by K-S test has been described. Reliability parameters have been given providing an insight into the technical system as a whole.
