Sažetak
Based on video recordings regarding the execution of the jump shot (performed by one of the best players of the Croatian Handball National Team) some kinematic chatracteristic of the important shooting technique in handball were defined. Starting with the shooting efficiency, special attention was paid to data which describes the parameters of the take-off (transfer of horizontal to vertical impulse), height and lenght of flight, realization of the thrawing movement kinetic chain and, of course, initial throwing height and speed of the ball. The data gathered could be characterized as a model values. They could be widely used in everyday handball practice as a support of searching better training methods in order to learn and improve this throwing technique as well as an orientation towards a more objective recognition of possible shortcomings and their correction.
