Sažetak
The research and presentation at the IMC Leeds is based upon three letters of the renowed Croatian humanists – historian Dinko Zavorovic, his Maecenas Faust Vrancic, the bishop of Csanad, and Toma Suricevic, the archipresbyter of Sibenik. All three letters are the part of the first history of Dalmatia, written by Croatian historian Dinko Zavorovic. My paper focus on the different levels of friendship and communication between three mentioned humanists. I think it is interesting to see how Zavorovic writes to his Maecenas and his brother-in-law, Faust Vrancic, to whom he has dedicated his History of Dalmatia, and to his friend Toma Suricevic, who is trying to comfort him after the scandal with Bonaventura from Britain who has supposedly stolen the Zavorovic's first version of History of Dalmatia.
