Sažetak
Wellness finishing is innovation aiming at special effects during wearing of textiles. Modern textile finishing processes have to meet high demands due to the expectations of new added values as well as persistence during laundering. The research is focused on the wellness finishing of polyamide pantyhose which includes implementation of microcapsules that release skin moisturising cream during wearing. The primary role is prevention of dryness, dandruff and skin allergenic reactions. It is very important to fix the microcapsules on textiles and prevent release during washing. Alkali composition of washing bath, mechanical action and temperature can alter release of microcapsules. Enhancing life time of microcapsules can be achieved by proper washing conditions. For this purpose liquid detergent was applied and pantyhose were washed by hand 1, 3, 5 and 10 washing cycles, followed by five-fold rinse. The problem was how to control residual microcapsules quantity after multiple washing. It was controlled using methods of liquid chromatography and FTIR Spectroscopy. Obtained results showed that applied methodology was appropriate for identification of residual microcapsules quantity.
