Sažetak
Considering the time finite element method and the piecewise full decoupling method, the bifurcation in the harmonically excited two-degree-of-freedom dynamical system with clearances is investigated. The stability analysis based on the utilization of the Poincaré map is used in the time finite element procedure. In the piecewise full decoupling computations, the bifurcation analysis is performed by studying the periodicity of steady state solutions. Close agreement is found between the obtained results.
