Sažetak
Fundamental features of time and work study in the textile mechanical technology are reported. Division of work and time are analyzed and an analysis of individual work operations is made. The objectives of the employer and employee as well as conditions for establishing compromises between the worker and the employer have been specially emphasized. The experimental part describes the complexity of making a norm for the weaver. According to the results obtauned the weaver´s norm does not only depend on the quantity of the woven fabric, but also on its quality. Only first grade fabric is profitable both for the employer and the employee.
