Sažetak
The magnetic properties of Ce-based heavy fermions are discussed. It is shown that the data can be qualitatively explained by the scaling theory of the degenerate Anderson model split by the crystalline electrical field. The magnetic susceptibility is calculated by combining the multiple scaling approach, which identifies the sequence of the fixed points transversed by the system as the temperature is lowered, and the perturbation theory, which provides the correlation functions in the vicinity of a given fixed point.
