Sažetak
The boehmite synthesis was carried out by means of hydrothermal dehydroxylation of industrial gibbsite ; the physical and chemical properties of the samples having been determined previously. Analytical methods confirmed that boehmite contained excess water in comparison with the theoretical quantity to be contained by boehmite crystallized in the form of AlOOH. In order to study the reaction kinetics, synthetically produced boehmite was digested in the aluminate base in the laboratory autoclave. The boehmite digestion reaction was found to take place according to the first order kinetic equation, the activation energy amounting to 49.27 kJ/mol.
