Sažetak
The length – weight relationship and condition factor of 67 specimens of the Neretvan spined loach Cobitis narentana (Karaman, 1928) from Hutovo Blato wetland was examined. This species is endemic to the Neretva River, distributed in the lower parts and the delta of the Neretva River wetlands and its tributaries (Hutovo Blato wetlands) shared between Croatia and Bosnia Herzegovina. The weight-length relationship was determined for whole sample and was TW=0.004*TL3.153 (R2=0.650) indicating positive alometric growth. The condition factor, as consequence of the weight – length relationship was 0.591 (R2=0.814) pointing low condition. With narrow areal of distribution this endemic species deserve special care and protection.
