Sažetak
Recent years have been distinguished by a growing awareness of the fact that the durability of concrete is a feature as significant as its compressive strength, or even a more significant one in some cases. Substantial quantities of concrete are exposed to the action of frost and, in many cases, to that of deicing salt ; hence the mayor international interest in concrete research focused on concrete resistance to frost with or without the presence of deicing salts. The reviewed methods show the different available possibilities for testing the resistance of concrete to frost and frost-cum-salt. By analyzing the course of testing for each method a proper choice can be made of the most adequate method for testing the frost or frost-cum-salt resistance of concrete used in specific applications.
