Sažetak
Glass-ceramics composite was produced based on ferrochromium slag obtained from ferrochromium industry and waste glass from TV monitors. Using 50% waste glass from TV screens in combination with slag, the values of E-modulus and bending strength of the designed system are increased (system based on metallurgical slag: E-modulus from 10 to 40 GPa, and bending strength from 12 to 28 MPa). The polyurethane foam was used as a pore creator, which gave the material porosity of 70-75% (slag-glass composite). The values of E-modulus and bending strength of the designed porous system were 2.8 GPa and 3.1 MPa, respectively. This material could be used for the production of tiles, wall bricks as well as for construction of air diffusers for water aeration.
