Sažetak
Twenty pregnant sows were vaccinated intramuscularly with 2 ml of RhinogenR CTE 5000 vaccine (Bordetalla bronchiseptica, Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, pasteurella multocida type D; producet by UPJOHN - serial No. 24186) 2 times within interval of 14 days against atrophie rhinitis (AR). The second dose was given 14 days prior to parturition. Fifty pigs (aging 7 to 10 days) from the litters of vaccinated sows were immunized subcutaneously with 2 ml of the same vaccine sample twice within interval of 21davs. Nonvaccinated (control) groups of sows and pigs comprised the same number of animals as the principal groups. The animals were housed under the industrial conditions where the natural infection with B.bronchiseptica was frequently observed. None of vaccinated pigs exhibited clinical signs of AR during the observation period of 2 months.
