Sažetak
Increasing use of cast aluminium alloy components in vehicle production (wheels, hubs, suspension parts, housings, etc.) makes necessary analysis of possibilities of repairment of damaged components. The reason for repair instead of substitution of replacement part might be long delivery time for the part, necessitya of extensive disassembling and assembljing works if new replacement part should be inserted, and last but not the least, high costs for the new replacement part.
Repairment procedures should restore properties of the component to the level possibily similar to the oriiginal one. To obtain thet it is necessary to develop repairment technology and quality assurance system giving reproducible results. This paper gives analysis of possibilities of such procedures with examples of various cast aluminium vehicle components repaired by welding.
