Sažetak
This work offers an analysis of stresses and displacements in the circular plate strengthened by three ring-shaped concentric ribs in order to increase flexural rigidity. Since there is no exact solution, an analytical solution based on theory of thin plates is hereby proposed. These results are compared with experimental results obtained by applying the 3D photoelastic frozen stress method on a specially designed and loaded model.
