Sažetak
Irradiation of 2, 2'-divinylstilbene (8) gave a [2+2]cycloadduct (9). On further irradiation it underwent a pi2 + sigma2 cyclization giving dibenzotricyclo[4.3.1.0 3, 7]deca-4, 8-diene (10) in 70% yield. The structure is based on the spectral data.
