Sažetak
Relatively few reports about the structure of the permanent by opened isomer of spiropyrans and spirooxazines are available in the literature. In this paper, we report for the first time the synthesis of the stable merocyanine isomers 4 and 5 of the corresponding spiro[indolino- indolopyrans]. Stereochemistry of 4 and 5 was deduced on the basis of their 1H and 13 C NMR, and conformation of 4 was unambiguosly determined by X-ray crystal structure analysis.
