Sažetak
Very convenient method, oglialoro condensation, was used in the preparation of some new substituted butadienes. So 1, 4-diphenyl- 1, 3-butadiene-carboxylic acid (I), 1- 4-methoxyphenyl)-4-phenyl-1, 3-butadiene-carboxylic acid (II) and their methyl esters (III, IV) were prepared in good yields. Drcarboxylation of compounds I and II gave trana-cis-1, 4-diphenylbutadiene (V) trans-1-phenyl-cis-4-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1, 3-butadiene (VI).
