Sažetak
Some basic mathematical relationships are derived, from which all known classic formulas of the theory of map projections are easily deduced. The dependence of the local scales of arc lengths and azimuths, as well as differences of azimuths on the azimuth are especially considered. It is shown that all these dependences can be graphically represented on the original surface and in the plane of projection.
