Sažetak
In this paper cylindrical perspective is considered as a composition of mapping an object (e.g. the earth's sphere or ellipsoid) according to the laws of linear perspective on the cylindrical surface and of developing that surface on a plan. It is assumed that the centre of projection can be in any relation to the cylinder. The proposed derivations of formulas are characterized by a simple geometric approach, and the resulting equations have a simple form, appropriate for the computer-aided graphical representation.
