Sažetak
The parallel capacitor commutation is used in the majoriti of the thyristor d.c. converters. The common feture of the parallel capacitor commutation circuits is that the commutation circuit and the load circuit are connested during a part of commutation time, although the main thyristor is turned off. Because of that the trailing edge of the output voltage waveform is load dependent.This can limit the applicability of d.c. converter where extremepulse width variation is needed.
