Sažetak
The volume contains eleven original articles and an introduction by the editors. The papers following the Introduction by the volume editors are organized into four sections with between two and four chapters each. The first section - Variety in unity: Cognitive-functional linguistics and different routes within CL - tracks internal developments within cognitive linguistics and thus sets the stage for the rest of the book. The remaining three sections explore interconnections between cogni-tive linguistics and various domains of usage-based linguistic description, highlighting the so-cial dimension of language, its embodied nature, and cognitive underpinnings of discourse-pragmatic phenomena.
