Sažetak
In this work has been analyzed a thin cylindrical shell weakened by an elliptic hole, under axial compression. The stress concentration factor around a hole has been defined by proposed analytical solution based on the application of analytical functions of complex variable and conformal mapping, and it has been compared with experimental results obtained by the photoelastic frozen stress method.
