Sažetak
The paper discusses differences in attitudes towards the English teacher and the course, towards the process of learning English as a foreign language (EFL), as well as diffrences in effort and achievement by Croatian learners of EFL. The findings of analyses of variance performed on the results of a comprehensive study are commented on and implications for teaching EFL are drawn.
