Sažetak
In Zadar outlying housing development Bokanjac (Croatia ; Adriatic coast) the work is proceeding on the new business district. Because according to the existing spatial plans this part of the terrain is placed inside the sanitary protection of the water pump station Bokanjac, Zadar city management board asked for additional hydrogeological investigations in the sense of micro zoning. If the tracing of the underground flows proves that the connection is slow enough (< 3 cm/s) it will be possible to start the construction of the business district taking into consideration the prescribed restriction and the waste water drainage. In the frame of the investigation works the detailed hydrogeological map of the terrain was made, and the geophysical investigation works (geoelectric imaging system, surface seismic refraction) presented the rock mass in the underground. Based on these data the location was chosen on which the borehole was drilled in the fractured and weathered rock mass (which was identified on the basis of the geotechnical anomaly). The borehole had demanded characteristics and served for pouring in the tracer (Na-fluorescein). Except the waters supply pit wells, several coastal springs were observed. The color appeared on the water pump station Jezerce with the velocity of 1, 1 cm/s, which places the whole area of the future business district into the 3rd zone of the sanitary protection according to the Croatian regulation. That means: if there is the wish to insist to build the business district on the mentioned area, it is necessary to ensure completely isolated drainage of all waste waters outside the area protected by the sanitary protection zones.
