Sažetak
The chapter outlines a project whereby one among four languages, English, French, German and Italian, is being introduced into the school curriculum for learners aged seven years.Questions arising during three years of systematic observation of the English classes in the project can now be addressed. We can also explore the factors which enhance or inhibit learning under these conditions.
