Sažetak
The process of converting binary integers with variable lengths into decimal BCD coded integers is considered. Four different conversion algorithms, like successive division by ten, successive division by powers of ten and conversions by means of look-up tables containing the binary values of the corresponding decimal digits or BCD digit weighting factors, are compared and analyzed. The algorithms are realized on the PDP 11/03-l microcomputer and the parameters like agorithms execution times and program lengths are measured and analyzed. The results of the measurements are presented.
