Sažetak
An application of the Markov processes in planning the structure of the port handling is presented.In the process of purchasing states change randomly at the discrete time, and that is why the number of cargo handling equipment types representing the optimal structure can be determined using Markov model.The presented model is applicable to the structure of the cargo handling equipment also in all cases occuring by varying its parameters.The model is recommendable only for short-term and medium -term planning as well.
