Sažetak
The Hasan Brkić bridge in Mostar, completed 1980., was designed as a three span frame structure, supported on two piers at 90,0 m distance, with the bridge end supports provided by diagonal tie-rods, anchored in the foundations of the piers. The spans were 11.25+90+11.25 m. It was destroyed during the war in Bosnia - Herzegovina in 1992. The design, with modifications is presented, as well as construction procedure. Two halves of the bridge were erected by free cantilevering from the two Neretva river banks.
