Sažetak
Following a number of computer-laboratory researches, the system dynamics simulation models of the Marine Systems were carried uot from 1990 to 1997, as under-graduate and graduate theses at the maritime Faculty University of Split, Croatia. Owing to these successfully conducted theoretical and practical lab experiments, and the application of the dynamics system of quantitative and qualitative simulation modelling, we discovered that the System Dynamics Simulation Modelling Methodology is one of the most suitable and effective ways of dynamics modelling of complex non-linear, natural, technical and organisation systems for the best education processing of the marine students and marine engineers, also. Zhe aim of this paper is to show the new education and science research efficiency of the System Dynamics Simulation Modelling approach of the dynamics behaviour of the Marine Systems. The Diesel-Drive Generating Set, as one of the most complex and non.linear marine technical systems will be presented as a System Dynamics: quantitative, or 1. Mathematical and 2. Computer and Qualitative, or 3. Mental-verbal and 4. Structural models in this paper. These models (quantitative qnd qualitative) have become very suitable education tools-simulators, especially for marine students and marine system engineers, because it provides them with a new and a specially effective approach to the non-linear dynamics marine-processes phenomena behaviour.
