Sažetak
The paper represents a part of the graduate thesis in the field of structures’ testing. The behavioural testing of structures by testing loading "in situ" is a part of a legally prescribed suitability determination procedure to test correctness of the structures’ use (design validity). The paper presents the testing procedures "in situ" on the three– hinged laminated frame structure with the tie rod, along with laboratory procedures to determine glulam wood properties. Those experimentally obtained results served as a basis of correctness assessment of the roof’ s structure usability. The structural testing was carried out under experimental loading of the static character "in situ" by establishing connection between measured parameters and the parameters calculated in the static design, where deviations were allowed only within prescribed limitations. The experimental loading testing that complied with the prescribed norm served as a main girder behaviour assessment, according to the following: performance compatibility with the design or norm, works’ quality in relationship to design requirements and structure’ s compatibility at taking over the designed load. The paper precedes the research which will be dealing with results’ evaluation and comparison of analytical and numerical FE behaviour simulation model analyses.
