Sažetak
The second order differential equation on RxI is considered. The theory of qualitative analysis of differential equations, particularly of the differential inequality, as well as the topological retraction method are used. Sufficient conditions, granting that the respective p-parameter (p=0, 1, 2) classes of solutions satisfy the corresponding conditions. The approximation of the solutions of the respective initial and boundary value problems is established. The stability of solutions is analyzed. Some well-known problems in mechanics are considered.
