Sažetak
The Conference on applied mathematics is a scientific meeting of Yugoslav mathematicians engaged in the field of applied mathematics. The aim of this conference is to improve the collaboration between its participants, to exchange scientific information and to improve the development of this field of mathematics in Yugoslavia. The IV Conference on Applied Mathematics was held in Split, 28-30 May 1984 at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Split. There were over 100 participants from various centers in Yugoslavia. There were 57 papers presented in three section: Analysis, Numerical Mathematics, Probability, Programming and Informatics. All the papers submitted for the proceedings had been reviewed. These proceedings contain only 24 the papers accepted by the reviewers.
