Sažetak
This paper is brief summary of research in occupational asbestosis. The goal is to compress pulmonary X-rays without misdiagnosis. Results shows that wavelet compression and reconstruction applied to quasi-superresolution can be very powerful (in some cases compression ration can be even 1024). Same results are not obtained for all wavelets. Algorithm presented combines morphology with classical wavelet analysis.
