Sažetak
The return of working fluid from the treated formations has an essential influence on successful treatment of hydrocarbon-bearing rocks. This influence is particularly important in treating the water-sensitive formations by acid or water-base fracturing fluid. In treatment operations in the past, the return of working fluid from formations was achieved by intensive swabbing, which was expensive and ineffective. In recent times, a technology has been developed of injecting gases into the working fluid which make it possible for the working fluid to be removed quickly and efficiently from the formations after treatment. So far we have used natural gas, nitrogen and liquid carbon dioxide. Before using gases in wells, extensive laboratory tests were performed on cores in order to determine optimal conditions of efficient use of gases in reservoir treatment. Technological characteristics in the use of each of the above gases were analysed and conditions were determined under which the application of each of them has optimal effect. Several acid treatments were performed as well as foam fracturing. Foam was used as an agent for reducing working fluid loss, i. e. as an acid reaction rate retarder. During the treatment, nitrogen and natural gas were injected into the acid using a foaming agent.
