Sažetak
The Digital Bridge System is the next step in Integrated Bridge Systems. Where the common integrated bridge systems only physically a number of navigation equipment in a steel console, the digital bridge system integrates a number of navigation functins. These navigation functions are: ARPA, ECDIS, CONNING, AUTOPILOT, Machinery Control and Monitoring. The digital bridge system will be based on the principle of multi function workstations. This means that each workstation can perform any of the navigation functions.
