Sažetak
Computer aided design system based on Case Based Reasoning (CBR) methodology is presented in this article. This CBR_CAD system support design activities during all phases by retrieving previous known design cases from the case-base. Designer can use these cases like patterns in solving new tasks. Known design cases are represented by using object-oriented technique. Retrieval mechanism is based on combination of methods “ nearest neighbour” and “ inductive retrieval” . Design cases are divided by technical product partial functions into subsystems. In this way designer ca get better patterns in solving new design tasks.
