Sažetak
The paper deals with the application of the program package for simulation of once-through steam boiler steady states and dynamics, developed by the authors, in solving a control problem of upgraded twin-boilers in a 210 MW utility power plant. The boiler under consideration and the related control problem are briefly described. The concept and main features of the simulation program are presented and some simulation results are compared with the transients recorded at the plant in operation. The examined control scheme is described and expected transients of some major controlled variables during the load change, obtained by simulation, are presented.
