Sažetak
Investigation of behaviour of the diesel-electric locomotive drive system in traction conditions for the purpose of finding out an optimal solution of the drive system can be very rationally done an a mathematical model matched to the simulation capabilities of the electric computer being used. This theoretical method of investigation makes possible the optimization of different solutions on objects whose tests in service conditions are costly, and especially on objects being in design stage.
