Sažetak
Circular broaching, as a relatively recent procedure for the machining of rotational-symmetrical surfaces shows some significant advantages in relation to conventional procedures of turning work and circular milling, when greater demands exists concerning productivity, complexity of shapes and precision of the processed surface. The paper takes into consideration the basic characteristics of the circular broaching procedure, which is suitable for the processing of naturally hard, but also tempered materials from the row form to the surface of proportionally high quality in one passing of the tool.
